Weekly Meal Plan #17 is filled with lots of tasty meals but before we get to them, I have to tell you a bit about my Guava Cheesecake.
Growing up in Ohio, guava was most definitely NOT in the stores. I never heard of a guava until I was in my mid thirties. I was at a food show and tasted a guava cheesecake. I felt like I had found a pot of gold.
The inside of the cheesecake was made with guava paste while a guava marmalade covered the top. As soon as I got home, I recreated the cheesecake and knew right away that I had a winner because friends and family begged me to make another.
You have to let me know what you think of Guava Cheesecake after you give it a try.
