Ice Cream Sundae in a Container

August 1, 2015 By Betsy Cohen

Ice Cream Sundae in a Container may very well become your new guilty pleasure. Hard to call this a recipe, even harder to stop eating. Scoop, eat and pour!

Ice Cream Sundae in a Container

I was all over Datz’s #YouGotDatzRight contest for the Food and Wine Conference.  Then again, with a contest that is asking for an instagram shot of my guilty pleasure, I simply had to participate.

As a dessert lover I am known to have what some might consider ‘guilty pleasures’ on a regular basis. There is, however, one pleasure that I never shared with others.  The contest, very quickly, changed my closet pleasure to a public one!

Ice Cream Sundae in a Container may very well become your new guilty pleasure. Hard to call this a recipe, even harder to stop eating. Scoop, eat and pour!

I LOVE opening up a container of ice cream, scooping out a big scoop and filling the hole with hot fudge.  I dig in like it is a single serving container.  Fortunately, there are some containers that are smaller than others so that I am not, necessarily, eating a pint of ice cream.

Then again, think of the possibilities of doing this with a half gallon container and creating several pockets of hot fudge and digging in at a party.  Hmmmm……I know what video I am going to be doing in the near future.

What’s your favorite kind of ice cream?

About Betsy

Happylicious By Betsy December 2015 lo res I have loved desserts for as long as I can remember. Growing up I loved the smell of freshly baked challah in my maternal great-grandmother’s kitchen, the incredible butter cookies from my paternal grandmother and the perfect pies my mother used to bake when company came over. More about me.
