Nectarine Mango Cherry Crisp #FathersDay

  • 2¼ pounds nectarines
  • 2 mangoes
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • ¾ cup all purpose flour, divided
  • ¾ cup dried cherries
  • 1 cup panko crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 12 tablespoons (1½ sticks ) unsalted butter
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°. Set aside a 11" x 7½" baking dish.
  2. Peel the nectarines. Cut into medium size pieces and place into a bowl.
  3. Cut the mango into medium size pieces and place into a bowl.
  4. Toss the nectarines and mango with ½ cup sugar and ¼ cup flour. Stir in the cherries.
  5. Transfer the fruit to the baking dish and set aside.
  6. Place ½ cup sugar, ½ cup flour, panko crumbs, lemon zest and butter in a mixing bowl. Use your fingers to combine the ingredients just until they are mixed together but not blended.
  7. Cover the fruit with the crumb mixture. Do not blend it into the fruit.
  8. Place the baking pan onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
